How this website handles your enquiries, the analytics you can choose to allow, and the data our hosting provider needs to serve the pages.

This policy explains what personal data the ZiPiStudios website collects, why, and what choices you have. The privacy policies for our apps and games are listed on the Privacy & terms page.
Who we are
ZiPiStudios is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@zipistudios.com.
Contact form enquiries
When you send the contact form we receive:
- your name and email address,
- your company, if you add one,
- the project type you choose and your message.
We use this only to reply to you and to discuss a possible project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards your submission to our email inbox. We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to reply and, if a project follows, for the length of that project and any record-keeping duties we have by law. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Analytics never receives what you type in the form. We only record that an enquiry was sent and which project type was chosen.
Analytics, only with consent
If you choose “Accept analytics” in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. If you reject it, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
With your consent, Google Analytics records:
- the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link), and how long you stay;
- interactions such as which buttons and project cards you choose, which questions you open, how far you read, and whether you send an enquiry or copy our email address;
- your browser, device type, screen size, and approximate location (country and city);
- page speed measurements (Core Web Vitals).
Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address. We have switched off Google signals and advertising personalisation, and we do not use this data for advertising. Google keeps the event data for 14 months.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules on cookies). You can withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page; we then delete the analytics cookies from your browser.

Hosting
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc. To serve pages and keep the service secure, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address in its server logs. See GitHub’s privacy statement (opens in a new tab).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it, or delete it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- send it to you or another provider in a portable format.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier use. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.
